What is a Wellness Coach?

A wellness coach helps you improve your overall life situation and strengthen your wellness skills. Your wellness coach acts as your partner and works with you towards achieving your own unique and optimal state of well-being. A wellness coach encourages and empowers you to make the choices that are most appropriate for you and your individual situation, and will help you incorporate healthy habits into your lifestyle. At times a slight change in your lifestyle can lead to a dramatic, positive impact on your wellbeing.

Through the supportive and self-empowering environment provided through wellness coaching, you will learn what changes are right for you and your life. Over time, those successful changes will create positive attitudes towards change and encourage you to continue making healthier decisions on your own. By mentally preparing yourself to handle change, you will position yourself for many future successes.

As you gain clarity and uncover your own personal health values and align your behaviors with these values, your sense of purpose will be heightened. By living in congruence with your values and priorities, your confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth will continue to grow and expand. The more you value your life and your health, the better you will take care of yourself in mind, body, and spirit.

The Treadmill Runner

“My life is so busy and out of balance. How can I get myself back and keep up with everything else I have to do?”


You always feel so busy and out of balance. Time is flying by but you don't seem to make much progress. You are not able to slow down and don’t enjoy your free time (if you have any). You really want to take a break but that seems impossible with everything you have to keep up with. You wish you could have more time to get back in shape. You’re a very busy person with countless demands on your time and energy. You’re constantly running but seem to be getting nowhere. It feels like you’re permanently on a treadmill in a race you’ll never finish.

You have tried many times to make changes in your life but you are still not getting the results you want. You try to lose weight but nothing has worked so far. You try to balance your work and personal life but work keeps winning. You try to decrease your stress level but you just end up adding more activities. You’re running out of ideas and feeling trapped.

• Daily frustration over failed attempts at change
• You feel out of shape and unhappy with your body
• Persistent belief that you’ll never get what you want

Together we will work collaboratively to figure out where you want to go and how to get there, while I help and support you along the way.

In our sessions together we will:

  • Focus on exploring all possibilities and envisioning your desired future.
  • Discover your passions, strengths, dreams, desires, and values with the intention of creating a vision of your best self. Together we will develop a plan to achieve results that are aligned with that vision.
  • Discuss and facilitate self-discovery, self-awareness, change management, and personal growth.
  • Connect the dots between who you are, who you want to be and what steps you should take to make it a successful journey.
  • Gain clarity and balance; enhance and increase strength, confidence and resiliency.
